In 2004 I became the proud owner of a yellow 2004 Cobra Vert. I had it for 5 years and sold it in December 2009 To Rick (ZR). since then it's had a couple of owners, and now it's for sale again.
I had put 98000 KM on it in 5 years. In the 8 1/2 years since it's done another 30,000 KM. I'm heartened to see it's been improved and very well maintained. IF I'd seen this 6 weeks ago I might have considered it instead of my '17 GT, but to be honest, I'm older now and don't need a car as crude as this. I enjoy the luxuries of my current ride.

Here it is, for those interested:

Was local to me for a while, was well cared for and looked to be in great shape at the time.

Like it way better with chrome stock wheels.

I agree. Chromies seem to be out of fashion though. Been looking for a nice set since I got my '15 but there don't seem to be any. I hate black wheels.

Only out of fashion if you let the market dictate what you do or do not like.

Almost considered buying this actual car once upon a time. Always loved the Termie in this colour. Glad that it's still in great shape.

Did you daily drive it year round? Or just summer?

I knew Steve put a lot of daily k's on it, just wasn't sure if they were all summer k's.
100k in 5 years could go either way.

Pretty sure Steve used it as summer only Don, however you are right on it being a daily/business use.

I liked Steve's Redfire on parchment top/interior he had before the screaming yellow vert.

Never saw snow. I Parked it every winter. I did drive it in rain and on construction sites.

Thanks for remembering that one. The yellow one was the better car though. I can remember the first day I got the redfire car like it was yesterday. I had about 200KM on it the first weekend, and I simply could not keep my foot out of it. To that date (aug 29/02) it was THE fastest street car I'd ever driven.
At the time, some of the experienced "hotshoes" with the car magazines managed to get these things into the 12's in the quarter mile, dead stock. It was unheard of.

IMO "Never Winter Driven" really must be taken with a grain of salt if you're buying from the 4th or 5th owner.
