I have the VIOFO A119 V2 Dash Camera with GPS Logger (https://www.amazon.ca/VIOFO-A119-Camera-Logger-Latest/dp/B01M28B92C/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1516716814&sr=8-1&keywords=a119c) I like it and it's very reasonably priced.

Tho, I bought mine on kijiji for $40 because they didn't know how to update the firmware

I'm still using my Blackvue DR400G-HD from 6 years ago. Best dashcam at the time, but expensive.
Seems to be good/cheaper alternatives now.

Whatever you get will be better than nothing.

I've got 3 of these and have been very happy with the quality of video (day and night). Free App, easy to crop and download video using wifi. For the price it's not bad at all. Nice, small and easily hidden behind the rear view mirror so it's not a distraction.

I really wanted to buy one of the newer Blackvues because of yours, but they are too expensive and the reviews are not that great for the price. There alot of cheaper ones have all the same stats 1080p, G sensor, GPS, etc

I've been using the VIOFO A118C for over 2 years now, the video quality is very good for the intended purpose. It's very discrete, cheap and reliable. Looking to purchase another dash cam for the family hauler, it'll either be another A118C or a A119.

I have a 4Sight. It has a forward facing and rear facing cam. It loops on the card so you don’t have to worry about it. I format it about once a week from the menu screen - as is generally recommended. It records sound as well. I’ve had this unit for about 3 or 4 years now. I use it on my daily drive and also use it at the track.

This cam was about $120 at the time I purchased it. It’s never let me down. It comes with its own software for the computer.

There are better cams now with blutooth and apps for your phone. I may upgrade at some point but this one has been pretty good for me.

I bought the Thinkware 800 from Bestbuy during the holidays. I love it. Little pricier than the others, but has exceptional night vision camera, ability to install rear face cam, hotspot and wifi and even though not advertised it will take a 128GB card. I installed an upgraded card today and didn’t use their proprietary card and it worked just fine. Video quality is exceptional. Get the hard wire kit and you can use parking mode as well.
