Hello TMC,

Thinking about adding a one-piece drive shaft to Ol Paint this season. I would like to hear from those of you that have one, both pros and cons.

Thanks
Stephen

Pros, faster acceleration, better gas mileage, stronger, saves 40lbs

Cons, potential for vibration if something is wrong, could act as a pole vault if it breaks without a driveshaft loop, costs money

I just found out ford racing came out with one, I'm thinking of picking one up as well

The Driveshaft Shop aluminum one piece works well in my auto Coyote and it's a huge weight difference.

Ive had an Axel Exchange one piece for 3 years. Works fine. No vibes. To Nicks point, half the weight of stock. Got it used for $600.

Although I've read about a number of peeps reporting increased vibration, only seen the opposite where it's cured a ride thats vibrated since pretty much day one.
