The day is booked off from work and I made my payment at the DaSilva open house this past weeked. Now I just have to get Ol Paint ready. Who else is going?

RedSN

Signed up, but far from ready.

Just a few small (bare minimum) things to do, but still stressed because time keeps ticking away.
Front brakes. Tires. Fix oil cooler leak. Address filler neck issue from last year. Charge battery. Change oil. Wash.

I'm hoping to make it, haven't registered though since I likely won't know until a few days before. Would like to get a few more things done on the SVO before then. If not, it did survive some laps at Mosport DDC on Saturday so should still be OK.

cheers

First drive will likely be onto the trailer. Second drive will be down the front straight. This is becoming normal but not good for me.

LOL, I know the feeling. Does not make for an enjoyable first lap: "Ok, have oil pressure, good. Ooooh! brakes are a little rusty. Temperature coming up. Too far up! Nope, okay, thermostat opened. Check mirror, little bit of smoke, okay. What's that creak? That's a new noise!?"

Just a few things to take care of as well
Then I’ll make the call to register [emoji106]

On a 17 Mustang? Bump up the tire psi a bit and you're good to go.

If this is for May 10, when are people going? A hotel the night before or driving out the morning of? Will there be a convoy, or everyone on their own?

Yes- gps took me on nice country road along river or creek - problem was it was not paved ( compacted rocks) lol
By the time I reached TMP car looked like I went off roading lol
If the driver doesn’t look good at least the car should!

You can turn some laps in my slow 5 oh and I’ll ride shotgun for a few, tires won’t offer too much grip ( burning them off before a new set installed)

I don’t know why more people don’t come out for this, even as a spectator. I didn’t even have my car out there today and I still had a blast! I got to ride along in a lot of fast cars, talk to a lot of great freinds, and even test drive a new GT (thanks Blackstock, that was amazing!). Thanks also to DaSilva (great seeing you Joe), and all the TMC’ers that helped run the event.

What a GREAT day! Thanks to DaSilva Racing for hosting the event, to Ross Booth for handling the flagging duties, to Blackstock Ford for bringing out two bad ass cars and letting us car jocks give them a run, and most importantly, thank you to the TMC members and their friends and family that make these days a real treat.

This was an amazing day in so many ways! Big thanks to DaSilva Racing and TMC for setting up such a great and well organized event.

Special thanks to Chris and the guys from Blackstock Ford for bringing the Venom Gt and that 2018 PP1 Gt coupe with the 10spd auto. Great machines and lots of fun to test them out.

Great to see some long time members live and chat with everyone as well. Lastly, thanks Don for the track tutorial it was super fun!

My sincere thanks to Joe and everyone at DaSilva Racing for making this happen, what an awesome day. Chris and the crew from Blackstock Ford, OMG I had fun in the 2018 GT and the Venom edition, you guys rock. To anyone that hasn't driven one, the '18 GT auto is one of the most impressive cars I've even driven, do yourself a solid and get out in one for a test drive.
Equally cool seeing so many familiar faces plus nice to see a good bunch of new ones. One of those events where everyone goes home with a perma grin.
Rosco, thanks again for giving up so much of your seat time to look after the flagging duties, job well done Mr, great piloting of the Cobra as well.

It's like TMP has it's own unique weather. Just like yesterday, raining part way there and arrived to a wet track. Steady winds saw it dry pretty quickly (although first session was a lil greasy, LOL) track temps came up and we had a fantastic time. Just started to spit rain again as we were loading up to head out but never amounted to anything.
Sausage spot on the way home, place has to be experienced, damm they are good.
Uli and the folks at TMP went out of their way to make the day just that much better.
