According to MAX , they do not do enough business with Canada to warrant a direct shipping account ! what ever that is ?

Doesn't DaSilva sell Maximum Motorsports?

Did you try American Muscle or CJ Pony Parts? They wrap up all their pricing so the price you pay is the price you pay. No border BS. You just have to convert it to CAN.

Also after pricing out on AM or CJ, give Dasilva's a call. There may be not enough difference to justify ordering from the US.

Use www.crossborderpickups.ca

Cost me $15 + taxes to have a $300 shipment come from LMR and I picked up my item in Mississauga

When DaSilva has sales on MM stuff the pricing is not that far off cross-border orders.

I have family in Vermont lol But it’s a solid drive and extremely annoying border crossings when you are not a regular. I’ve had a gun pulled on me at the border once... the shit we do for car parts lol

When it comes to the car hobby, this is a pretty shitty country to be in. So close to USA but so far... I wonder if the NAFTA breakdown will change much?

I recently got some MM stuff from Dasilva's. I waited a bit and they added my parts to a MM order they were making anyway.

I’ve mentioned it on here before but... www.crossborderpickups.ca

Use it and save a ton of money.. blame Canada, not MM.

This and this. My entire car is outfitted with MM stuff purchased during sale events.

This is nothing new with buying stuff from the US. Should be used to it by now.
Either put up with it, go to the states yourself, or buy local. I can’t be bothered with the hassles so I choose the third.

Might want to get those orders in as Trump is going to cause an increase in stuff coming across the border if his recent idiocy continues.

That has me wondering... so far our costs are going up due to oil prices fluctuating which devalues our dollar... now NAFTA may drive our dollar down even further. I don't think killing NAFTA will change much for the hobby? Correct me if I'm wrong. I think OPEC can decide to overproduce and cause more damage than Trump in this regard.

Also why cuss MaxMotorsports? It's not their fault we live in an inferior country with just 30M people with socialist tendencies and still tied to the stupid queen. If Canada had balls or some sort of smarts over the years we'd have just as many people and in return as strong of a car culture... maybe we'd have our own MM (remember Dech?). We live in a country with little buying power, small population and a government that hates cars and freedom.

Super frustrating for sure but they don't care about the CDN market - nor should they, it's a small fraction of their revenue and I doubt they have much growth capacity to even want to expand into other markets (not that you'd want to here but just sayin').

They have resellers in Canada, Dasilva is one of them. We just need to plan ahead when it comes to MM... It sucks, super frustrating and we have to face it, we're not important when it comes to these things. We're lucky enough to have SEMA on our side when it comes to legislation of hotrods and such but we're never going to have it as good as our brothers south of the border. Could be worse, could be in the UK and be into Mustangs lol

D'SOUSA has the best prices on MM stuff hands down. I bought a pan hard bar cheaper than MM posted price+exchange rate. Also it seems the place that just opened up in markham is the way to go.
Also any company that uses UPS for cross border shipments I avoid as UPS charges a crazy fee once it arrives.

It's our over priced shipping system. I bought some stuff off Amazon, came from China shipping free, around $25.00, I then forwarded it on to a family member in New Brunswick, cost me $25.00 as it had to go as a parcel.:slap:
