Hi all, I’m trying to ballpark a 331 stroker kit. I think the rotating assembly will be around $2000 CAD but not sure on machining the block to get it cleaned up, decked? And open the bore 0.030 or whatever is needed.

Is it like another 2 grand for machining? Lol hope not. Worst case I skip the stroker idea and just do a normal “306” freshening but I’d rather add more cubes while it’s all apart...

Thanks

I havent had much machining done recently but if youre going to these lengths its probably not a bad idea to get the block magnafluxed while theyre opening up the bores etc....id imagine youre probably going to be close to another 1000 or better but again, its been a long time since ive had machining done.
