Hi all,

I'm new here, coming from GTAMC. Thanks for having me.

Has anyone rented from Turo? Has anyone listed their car on Turo? I listed my 2015 7 seater Kia rondo and it's getting rented today for 2 days - for the 1st time. Let's see how this goes....

I am pretty anal about who drives my cars, and just wondering how your insurance company looks at this, just like Uber.

I'm with Intact and the company uses Intact. Many of the personal insurance companies won't allow it. Luckily I'm with Intact and all I had to do was notify my broker. Besides that when your vehicle is rented to a user, the car is insured with the Turo - Intact insurance

People rent their cars out? Lol I doubt there’s any money to be made considering how people drive rental cars...

What’s next rent a wife?

checked it out for laughs, you can rent a mustang for 400 bucks a day. F150 for 150 bucks a day, shit box scionB for 40 bucks a day, don't see the appeal as seems to be way more expensive than standard rental companies

You get deal if you rent for a week or a month and it's less expensive then the big rental companies......

People are making good money off of turo. Also each renter and rentee leaves reviews so it's a community. Of course there is risk, but from the majority of users on both sides have positive experiences. God forbid there is a nightmare with my newer car that is rented out, you probably won't see any new posts regarding Turo from me. If anyone wants information or the in's and out's I can help.

You can rent a stang for just over $100 a day and less if it's monthly. Keep in mind that each user posts their own prices and also what you see on the website changes day to day as the only vehicles posted are the one's available for that given time. I seen stangs for $120 a day up to $220. Both v6 turbo's and 5.0's.

keep us posted - I think it could work out well if you have vehicles you don't use ever day and want to make some cash - I always rent trucks when I need one, cheaper than owning one when you only need it once in a while...

1st experience was great. I left the rentee a 5 star review and he did the same for me.

Ha small world. So this is my 2nd time renting out my kia rondo. Mustang pulls up to my house. Trickflow-jay rents my kia. Solid guy. Sik stang and fast monster. Spent almost 2 hours shooting the sh*t.

Cheers and enjoy my car buddy

Cool to hear these reviews, not sure I'd ever rent out my Mustang (mostly because of all the aftermarket shiat) but have considered buying a couple 6L gas 2500 trucks to rent out on Turo. Think it would go over well in my area. Be interesting to see how your results go. Seen a lot of videos/reviews on the app, some great some terrifying.

Try one truck. The way I see it, if it's rented a 1/3 of the month you will do ok. So if that is the case make sure you can use the truck to benefit for personal use too. Just my 3 cents....
