BAck in mY dAy... we waited DaYs for our film to be developed... you kids will never have the satisfaction of having to wait for something. And back then social media was reading the news paper in a coffee shop and talking politics to strangers.

My sons are incredulous that I started my business without computers, cell phones, scanners and email. They barely even know what a fax machine is.
They especially can't imagine that we once had tv's without remote controls!

My son saw his first typewriter when we were walking Queen St ( I didn’t realize he never saw one, I even have one in the closet somewhere)
Stood there for awhile,
I said “ you want to buy that?”
He replied “ I was just wondering how do you delete if u make a mistake?”

The more advanced typewriters (digital ones) had spell check. You would type a sentence which shows up on a shitty LCD screen and press a button for it to be stamped (lack of better for the process of a key hitting a ribbon) onto the paper.
