Looking to do a six speed swap on a 02 new edge. Any idea what I would need for this swap, and is it very complicated. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Very straight forward / bolt in swap.
D&D in Michigan sell as a kit.

I put a Cobta T56 in my New Edge. The follow was required

- t56 trans (duh) and bell housing with clutch fork
- 26T clutch kit that mates to whatever flywheel you're running
- Shift assembly
- cobra transmission cross member with mount (ford part)
- Pig tail to wire up the reverse lockout solenoid or reverse lockout delete kit
- Pig tail to wire up reverse light switch on t56 to t45/3650 wiring harness
- Driveshaft. Either a custom job or use a Cobra DS and swap the u-joint to adapter style to accept the factory GT pinion flange. If you use a cobra DS you will also need a DS spacer and longer DS bolts.

D&D does sell the kit with trans but at $4500usd it's a bit steep. I was able to put mine in for under $2000 incl cost of trans and new CF clutch. After I sold my t45 assembly and factory parts it cost me all in around $1200 to do the swap.

Only problem, used T56 is worth just this side of an arm and a leg.

Gotta keep an eye peeled and be ready to pounce. The one in my car was $600 from a guy who pulled it to go auto swap for a drag car then abandoned the project and needed to clear out his storage locker. We found another for a friend for $800 for from a guy who bought it to put in his LS swap no realizing Cobra wasnt same as Fbody.
