What's the best belt for the supercharger? Got a gatorback on it now.

Also it's probably time to change the inner accessory belt, looks to be alot of cracking.
Best belt?
Figure since I'm there I should replace the tensioner and idlers.
Just stick with OEM ones?

Thanks

Not seeing a clear win between any of the aftermarket belts.
Yes for sure inner belt and idlers need attention. Beauty of the OEM Ford pulleys, bearings can be pressed out / replaced. While the aluminum aftermarket ones look fantastic, oddly some are causing never ending belt noise.

Still have to get that lower pulley off, can't wait heard its fun to do.
Should I stick with Ford for the bearings or can you get the same quality at the local Carquest

Exactly that on belts.
Lower cage is not considered rebuildable, yes some can be an absolute bastard to get off. Thats why you see so many running a Metco lower kit. You stock blower?
Any quality bearing stands up find in the idlers / tensioners.

2.76 upper, stock lower pulley.

Haven't really had a good look at the lower pulley to check for wear, hoping it's fine.

Don't let anyone talk you into driving the stock blower at crazy RPM.

No luck with that lower pulley, just wouldn't budge. Guess the inner belt will have to wait.

Hard to get a good pic, belt has some small cracking, thinking it's probably originalhttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20181218/e5e139117579d564dafca08921a50bc7.jpg

Do you have the correct stub tool and a mega breaker bar?
Car in gear, park brake on, second person to hold brakes hard, jack or similar under your breaker bar, hands n everything else well outta the way.
Lil easier to do on the hoist, all in place then lower car to push breaker bar. Odd one, will not come with the above and require action that could damage it.

I had the car on blocks (under wheels) ebrake on, in 6 gear, 3ft breaker bar with a 14mm hex 1/2 drive socket. Using my 2 tonne jack to lift on the bar.
Probably would be easier with a lift

Raised the car a little higher so I could get a little more leverage and off she camehttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20181219/aaafbf7ac0ad0435658ab54d6953a689.jpg
