Hello and good day everyone.

I am in the market for a new Dash Cam as my old one has crapped out.

What is everyone using and would you recommend it???

Thanks

My Blackvue DR400G has been working for 6 1/2 years now, still pleased with it.
My wife's Blackvue DR600GW has been working great for 4 years now.

Lots of other cheaper dashcams out there, but I'm very happy with the Blackvue lineup.

Lots of previous posts/input on this. Go to the Search function on the upper right hand side of the main page, click advanced search, enter dash cam for search criteria and choose to search in message/subject title. You'll get a ton of great info.....

I did the search function, the information there is over 2 years old for dashcams, I'm looking for current information.

You can bet the market has moved forward since then.
Interested as well.

Check out this site. The site is very informative and they are located in BC. Owner is very helpful.

You can check out all his product comparisons on Youtube.

Old thread but a good deal on a cheap dashcam. I bought one of these for my Dad and it works great except it does not record sound.

I am running a Blackvue DRS 750 two channel in my BMW. It’s now two years old and it’s not bad. The wifi sync to the phone sucks though. It’s been hit and miss with that feature. A positive feature is that it’s a two channel with front and rear cameras, has parking mode and is 1080p. The newer models can do 4k. A big negative is the price. Very expensive for what it is.

If You want a budget 2 channel consider a mirror dash camera. I got this for my other car and was planning to add the rear camera to double as a backup camera. So far its been working really well! It’s 5 months old so far and no issues at all. I am using this in both my Truck and Mustang. Works great and there is nothing obvious on the Windshield
