Hello all,

Could anyone point me to a trusted body shop in the community that could paint and install a bumper cover on my 00 GT?

Thanks.

My go to shop is off Hwy 6 / Safari Rd, if that works for you can post contact info.
Since meeting Bruce, been well worth my while to drive that far, have been pleased to the max with his work.

Hi Rick! Thanks for the reply, Awhile back I was asking about alignment shops and you connected me with Scott at Can-Align and was totally worth the drive!

Could you post Bruces info please and thank you!

Happy to.

He's done several jobs for me, more than satisfied with both the work done and level of care he took with my car.

Hey Rick, Quick question do I need any sort of kit to swap a 99 cobra bumper onto a 00 GT? Like a grill delete kit, or is it a direct bolt on and can I leave out the grill and horse.

Thanks. mm

RioRedSVT would know better that me but, I believe you will need the hood as well since it is slightly different along the front edge.

Hi Frankie. Yes I saw that somewhere but I think that is for an 03-04 bumper install on a 99-04 GT that you need the longer hood.

But contrary to my unpopular belief.... I have know to be wrong. :)

Everything fits, you just end up with a gap above the headlights and the top of the grill.

The hood for the 99/01 SVT is specific and comes down a little lower at the front.

Hey Nick, if you still need that contact info, let me know, the guy Rick is referring to is my buddy, Bruce.

Never mind, I see that Rick already gave Bruce's number out.

99 Cobra bumper lines up fine with GT hood and all. The 03/04 are shorter and need the matching hood for clearance. If you want to match the look the 99/01 Cobra hood is the same as 01+ V6 cars. Can be found for 50-70 bucks.

Never mind, I see that Rick already gave Bruce's number out.I just called and left a message with Bruce to confirm that I am going to drop the hood off tomorrow. He mentioned he was there Sat until around 1. I don't have the address though, I'll call tomorrow but for planning any chance you could send it to me.
