Since Super Blue is no longer available, this. Tried several of the other "go to" brake fluids with dismal results.

Been running RBF600 for several years now with generally good results, although the new ride seems to cook it easier than the last. Considering upgrading to Castrol SRF, but the price is insane. In the past have considered the ATE as above, but had a hard time finding it (at that time, maybe it's easier to get now).

If you aren't tracking, then honestly I'd just be running the cheapest fluid I could get at Canadian Tire.

G-ForceJunkie makes brake fluids cry for their mommy.

Agreed on the regular brake fluid for street car.

I use regular brake fluid, but flush it yearly. 3 or 4 track days tops. But I don't go that fast.

I use the stock Ford Mustang GT fluid and haven’t had an issue. But I do change all fluids each spring... Oil, Brakes, Trans and Rear Diff.

Did well first track season
Used this but last session did not do too well
Brakes became quite spongy/ mushy after first session out
Going to switch it up this season maybe

You also have 6 piston brakes and 15” rotors.

In my case, expensive has worked out cheaper in the long run (not that I cared about $ aspect) via less flushes required. Going couple seasons with no issue, finally flush just because of time and number of times it's been hawt. Second bonus, pedal has never felt as firm with other fluids, not a night and day difference but one you can immediately feel.

I generally have used Motul Dot5.1 for street use and it has been great. Since I don't track I am not sure what to go with other than RBF 600? I should check on ATE with my local supplier.

I purchased on Amazon last time.
Might get by with one can on a full flush.

Is this brake fluid good to use for all 4 seasons? I know the RBF600 is only a summer brake fluid.

It is available on Amazon Canada for $39.95

I used the Super Blue year round when OlPaint was my DD. No issues.

I have never heard of any brake fluid being a 'summer only' fluid. I can't say I've checked, but I would assume DOT certification would have some sort of temperature requirements in it.

Description

Lea en español
ATE TYPE 200 Amber Brake Fluid is designed to excel within the extreme demands made on a race vehicle or by high performance drivers and exceeds all DOT4 standards. It is compatible with and will mix well with most DOT3, DOT4 or DOT 5.1 fluids.
The formula offers a minimal drop in boiling point due to outstanding water binding properties resulting in a long-lasting fluid that may not need to be changed for up to 3 years under normal highway driving conditions. Products with a lower wet boiling point have to be replaced considerably more often (e.g., DOT3 products should be replaced annually). The overall high dry and wet boiling points make this fluid an excellent choice for street driven vehicles, too, where brake fluid is flushed less frequently than that in race-driven vehicles.
Features/Benefits of ATE TYP 200 Amber Brake Fluid:

Boiling point minimum: 536 degrees F
Wet boiling point minimum: 388 degrees F
Viscosity at -104 degrees F: max 1,400 mm 2/5
Designed to last up to 3 years under normal highway driving conditions

I used this in my last Fox, immediate difference compared to the normal fluids from CTC.
No brake fade at all.
Not cheap, but NV Auto in Hamilton has it on the shelf.

I just remembered that I still have 2 unopened bottles of Motul Dot5.1 sitting at home. I guess I will use them first.

It says in the technical data sheet that "Exceeds DOT 5.1 and DOT 3 standards also, except for viscosity at -40 deg C (-40 deg F)."
I gather that was why it is not recommended for cold weather use?
