Parts washer upgrades

Have floor model power fist parts washer. Does the job in terms of size and the pumps are cheap when they need to be replaced.

But due to the size it takes 2 large buckets of solvent to fill it and has no built in filtration

Thinking of trying to convert it to a bucket sump and som sort of filter cartridge that’s easy to change (dirty old car parts. Lol)

Any body has a set up like this or purchased something that works well?

I've heard of guys using a remote oil filter adapter n plumbing it in.

I though of that cuz I have one laying in the garage, wasn't sure it would work just of gravity alone, or if it would have to be after the pump
