Shift Gates Tight

Noticed ever since I installed my Pro 5.0 SS my 1st gear and reverse gates feel super tight when cars not moving. Like I have to really force reverse in, 1st I have to usually knock it in 2nd before it goes in.

Is there some adjustments I can make or is this normal with the SS?

Is there instructions on how to set? I bought it used, figured they were setup from factory.

Must be set, no two trans are identical.
