I realize this is a pony forum however does anyone know a qualified shop specific to vintage Japanese sports cars specifically the rx7 .

It’s actually belongs to a customer of mine that bought new in 83 and life got in the way and parked it.

I tried searching but I think shops that specialize in these “wankels” have either closed up shop or are rare.

I was hoping you would chime in!

Except for the engine itself, rest of the car is very straight forward n basic.
I've towed more than a couple of em around the block in gear to fire after extended storage, smoke like an SOB then settle just fine until stored again.

Do you just want mechanical or body and paint as well? I know some skilled Rotary people down in the Windsor area.

Thanks Laffs, body and paint can be done locally (Toronto), do you have the names in Windsor for engine, drivetrain.

Dude is a Rotary wiz, but genreally super busy. Also a have a friend who's a red seal tech that is a rotary nut. Has a home shop, can see if he's interested in some side work.
