2003 - 2004 Mach 1 / Cobra Owners: MGW vs Pro 5.0 Shifter

My question is for any of you using/used either the MGW or the Pro 5.0 Short throw (or both):
Which one is the best choice ?

Yes have had several shifters in my own car (Hurst, B&M, Stock, Pro 5.0, MGW), hands down winner for me is the Pro 5.0 with either stock handle or my own modded Hurst. On Mustangs with a divorced shifter, hands down choice there is MGW.

What do you mean by divorced shifter ?

I am assuming divorced would be a body mounted shifter with linkage going to the trans to allow gear changes. As opposed to a t5/t56/etc where the shifter bolts right on to transmission it self.

Loved the MGW I had in both my Cobra and my 00GT, one of my favorite mods.

I have had both, MGW is smother for street driving vs but Pro 5.0 Shifter is better for more positive speed shifting at the track... I use pro 5.0 with steeda stick and a pistol grip. Helped me get my 11.03 et at the track
