Over the years, I have not been especially lucky, or very often have things go my way.
Yesterday, however, with an incredibly understanding wife and support of my family, somehow the stars aligned and this came into my possession.
It's 2016 F-Type S ragtop, 380 horses, AWD. It has 15,000 km and is still under warranty!. I was able to use my "SUPRCHRG" licence plate, which has been hanging on my wall for almost 10 years.
Believe me, guy,s this car is worth every penny. Turn the active exhaust on and it'll curdle your blood. Sounds like an F-1 racer. Subjectively it feels much faster than the Mustang, and is way more comfortable.
Now I just have to pay for it.

Sweet ride

Very nice - congrats! I like those and would get one but without a back seat I'd have to choose between the wife and the dog for co-pilot (I'd lose either way...lol).

The only forum I've found so far is very very properly British. All Hoyty toyty with noses in the air. I'm just an ordinary guy who got lucky.

Very nice ride Steve. Happy for you and your wife to be in a position to make the purchase. I'm personally struggling to pay for all the insurance to cover my toys and work related equipment. I hate to know what you pay out to keep your appetite covered. Drive safe and enjoy every minute.

NO NO don't drive that Jag in the winter, Thinking it would not hold it's value and get a little to dirty both inside & out. Keep it as a summer cruiser. Even though those trucks are work related the cost of insuring your fleet of wheels must be crazy........but if ya can afford it why not.

Guess what! There is a plastic cover of some sort in the engine compartment that is stamped FoMoCo!. Apparently, also, the v-6 inherited the oil sump pickup tube and a timing cover from when Ford still owned Jaguar.
So, I guess I haven't strayed too far from the family after all.

When I had the Lincoln LS I had to buy some parts from Jaguar after they became obsolete through Ford/Lincoln.
