waiting on the new fuel pump to come in for DOB so I figured id rule out all possibilities and pull the tank.

its not it the worst shape and had no leaks before but a couple spots look like they wont be long before they are an issue.

I remember something about places that you can send tanks too and they will clean and reseal them. is this a worth wile thing to look into or should I just look to a premade aftermarket unit?

figuring reusing the one I have will save hassle with the filler neck.

if anyone knows a place let me know. prefer London area but can ship if needed.

thanks

Gonna let it off gas for the night then get a scope inside so I can see how bad it is.
I did some digging and found a company that makes a direct replacement poly tank they have a dealer listed in Milton and list the tank at only $250 American on the main website so sent off an email

If it’s that cheap and a direct replacement that might be the way to go

If it was mine, replace. Long term with external / internal coatings, nothing but problems.

Santings OK tire here in Windsor does tank repairs/reseals, I think they call it “the renew process”. 519-966-0422

Preventative external coating, time well spent for sure.
