Can anyone recommend a wheel refinishing guy in Mississauga? FYI, a new one is $1400.00 net to the consumer according to my local dealer.

Sorry to hear what happened...

Many will recommend Carcones located in Aurora. I don't know of any good shops in Mississauga maybe someone will chime in.

I know of Union Rim located in North York, these guys do absolutely fantastic work. I've seen it first hand!

I have used both Carcone’s and Union Rim and I can tell you to go to Union. I was very unhappy with the poor job Carcone’s did on my X6 wheel (I made them redo it and it was still not good).

When I had Union do a diamond cut wheel done on my X5 it came out like new.

Side note: Only issue you may have is matching the hyper silver Ford uses.

Good luck.

Yes, I’m wondering if anyone could match the finish as it is somewhat unusual. Only one way to find out!

If anyone can it will be John at Union. Post pictures when done.

I used Leprecon in Vaughan to repair my LMR GT350 replicas. I can't tell which one was fixed vs the 3 originals. Did a nice job re mounting/balancing with roadforce as well.

They do a lot of high end Lamborghini, Ferrari stuff, etc.

$160 +/-

Highly recommend Leprecon Rim Repair in Vaughan. They have refinished a bunch of my wheels and are great. Fantastic pricing and they are usually pretty quick.

Update: I actually bought a Ford OEM rim at a somewhat better price. I had four new tires and the rim installed this morning at Braiden. The original Cup 2’s were pretty well cooked after only 4200 Kms.

On the way back I dropped my damaged rim off with Max at Leprecon. Nice guy, btw. I plan to keep it as a spare.

I have a pic of the damaged rim, but can’t load. Anyone want to volunteer?:helpsign:

I can't hold back my curiosity at what price you managed to get a PP2 wheel for....glad it all worked out either way!!!

It was $1187.00, but you get a core credit of $70.00 as well, if you return the damaged one. I kept mine as I mentioned above.

I thought it might be prudent to have a spare for the front!:idiot:

Edit, corrected the cost.

They have extra warrenty I think may cover this moving forward - may not be too late to get it...?

Glad to hear you had the same experience as I did with them!!

That OEM wheel wasn't cheap!!!

Yes, it was crazy. A few years ago I had to buy a large rear rim for a BMW 550i and it was only $1,000.00!

But, I did get a pretty good deal on some Pilot Super Sports from Braiden, which helped a lot.

The car is way better behaved now versus the Cup 2’s. Very streetable.
