They should change the name to Edselover...

Would be easy enough to do, as they already have a wagon version of the Mondeo (Fusion) in Europe, and AWD is already available. They have made "Active" versions of the Fiesta and Focus for European markets that are basically lifted wagons as Subaru, Volvo, Audi, and others do.

As a very happy current Fusion owner, I'd definitely consider one of these. Except for that rear side window. Awful.

Here's a current Mondeo saloon for comparison ...

I like station wagons... Dunno why everyone is into SUVerizing every damn thing.

It's not like the crossover is new

The AMC Eagles were definitely about 30 years too early LOL ... you still see some pop up occasionally on kijiji when doing a cross-Canada search.

Lots of Moms want an “non mini van, all wheel drive, sit up a little higher” vehicle.
If they actually produce and market it, it’ll sell.....(like it or not).

I don't see the point. Ford has enough SUV on the market

My wife's aunt had that exact same car, down to the colour back in the day. She drove it for years and loved it.
