From Facebook.

Hello family and friends the kids had a sit down this evening and decided the best way to let everyone know about the passing of their loving, caring, wonderful father, Kevin Weatherdon (https://www.facebook.com/kevin.weatherdon?sk=wall&__tn__=%2CdK-R-R&eid=ARB9d9K0eN_xJ7PY_Nj7BCfQzUWKMAg-4Qo1qw_W9JOQ5ylsy0uU_NSiZVgOgbOaHtn3wvLPnIWWv98x&fref=mentions) was to write this post.
He passed away this morning. Everyone is in shock.
Further details will follow.
Love you Daddy ❤️

Arboc aka Kevin was a man with so many ideas, a big heart and a love for life.
Not just ideas but full on build plans in great detail. We could and did sit around the garage for hours talking about build ideas in our heads. He was a walking encyclopedia of automotive statistics. The only thing that trumped his love for cars and motorcycles was his love for Amber and his two girls. Kevin worked hard, played harder, loved harder still.
You will be missed my friend RIP I will think of you often.

I was shocked as well, when I learned of this, tragic news indeed!

I did not know Kevin as well as some others here, I only met him a handful of times at some mustang events throughout the years. The fondest memory being at Cayuga one season, when he came over to ask if he could go for a ride in the Mach 1 for a few laps. We chatted for a while after that afternoon (mostly Mustang related) but even in that short period of time, you could see he was well respected and had a big heart to say the least!

He will be missed by many! But also remembered by many!

It’s not often I don’t have words but this is just IDK.
Such a great guy.
So friendly to even perfect strangers.
Back around 2005 after the Newcastle show he invited Jay (1low03gt) J. Longo and myself who were pretty much strangers to him and the whole GTAMC crew back to his house. Made everyone feel like home. Been friends since that day.
Just shocked.
This one hurts.
RIP buddy.

I fondly remember Kevin is that one guy that hands down always had more info detail and knew WAY more about Mustangs than I could.....and that's a LOT. lol. He was a regular at Grudge day year after year.

This one especially hurts because Kevin's wife passed a couple of years ago so his two daughters have lost both biological parents now. I am not OK with that knowledge and hope they find the strength and support from all the rest of the family to get through this tragedy.

Luckily, his recent wife Amber and her kids all came together to create a large family and Amber is just as genuine as Kevin is so I hope things get worked out.

I know Kevin worked very hard, and what I will remember is his "zero fucks given" attitude where the car hobby was concerned. He did it...did it BIG and didn't feel anyway about it so I'm glad he got to experience that in life before his time was cut short. GT500....no problem. Twin Turbos.....no problem. Another car......no problem. Now you can let it hang any time you want Kev!

Reminder to appreciate everything you have and enjoy it.

Labour day weekend 2002. I had taken delivery of my brand new 03 Cobra convertible on theThursday before the long weekend. I posted on the GTAMC and everyone was so excited. No one had actually seen a Cobra till then. It was literally the first Cobra delivered in Toronto. That weekend, on Saturday morning, we were up at our trailer in Port Perry when I got a phone call. "Hi. My name is Kevin. I belong to the GTAMC. Can I come see the car?" Or words to that effect. Sure. No problem. I had no clue who he was, or how he found my number, but an hour and a half later he drove up with Shannon, his wife. He was a little overweight then, but full of youth and enthusiasm. Instantly likeable. I took him for a ride up the back roads around Scugog Island, and since I'd already put several hundred kms on the car, I opened it up a bit. By the standards of the day, it was a VERY fast car. He loved it. Then I offered to let him drive. He was shocked that I would let anyone drive the car, but hey; it's just a car.
After that, we kept in touch even though there was more than 20 years difference in ages. In fact during the summer of 2005 he worked part time for me for several months, until he got his milworking position.
Wonderful guy. He will be missed.

I’m trying to get to all the messages but it’s impossible....
The kids have there ups and downs. They have an amazing support team. They know how loved they are and that everyone is sending hundreds of prayers.
Their amazing Grandparents spoiled them today with a shopping spree and it’s just what they needed. They divided and conquered the mall with
grandma, Aunt M, Uncle Clint, Amy and Grandpa. And for that I’m extremely great full.
I had time to reflex and just be alone. I have an amazing brother and sister Inlaw that are supporting me all hours of the day and night. There are so many other people that have been supporting us as well and we all want to say thank you.
Of course once we have details of the funeral I will let everyone know. But for right now enjoy my beautiful babies looking there best.
Tell someone you love them ❤️ (https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10221490690846608&set=a.4835219728312&type=3&permPage=1)

Hi everyone, I am Kevin's brother Shawn, a lot of you already know me.
First of all, thank you all very much for the heartfelt sympathy and out pouring of support. The last few days have been very tough and been a whirlwind as you can imagine. I can tell you know that Amber, the kids, my parents and my family are all having their up and down moments but for the most part are doing alright. We are all holding strong and tight to get through this together.
Each and every one of you should tell someone you love them, hold your family that much closer, treat each day like it's your last and don't take anyone or anything for granted.
Each of you should also be very proud to be part of such the amazing, tight knit community/family that this forum represents.

I will share funeral details as I know them.

Thank you again

My deepest condolences to you and your entire family. Words can't express this heart break that I have for you all. I've been part of this community for a long time, and enjoyed seeing Kevin's and your posts...of the cars...the bikes....the tech questions etc. I never got the honor of meeting Kevin in person or yourself, but am sure have exchanged comments with each other on some threads. What I've seen from these posts is that Kevin was a very well respected guy, and made such a positive impact on so many people. Also, that he was a great Dad and husband. You're so right to never take anything or anyone for granted. Life is so precious, and extremely short. I'm a Dad of 2 girls, and learning of this tragedy just really hit close to home for me. I can't imagine what your nieces are going through right now. I am thinking of all of you and wish you all strength and courage to get through this. May Kevin Rest in eternal Peace.
