Sounds like a nice build and in a great colour/stripe combo. Only 4K on the build? Begs the question.....why is he unloading it? Been up for sale for a bit as well. Doesn't say how long he's owned it either....

Good luck with the hunt!

Unless that engine pic is old, that guy is spinning the living crap out of the stock blower which is a heat soaking paper weight. That is also a really good 1/4 time for a stick shift convertible Shelby only making 688rwhp. I would be asking a lot of questions. Doesn’t say either how the engine is fully built? Why build it also to only make 688. Stock long block handles 800rwhp.

My exact thoughts!

I saw this add a while back and messaged him about the supercharger, he said it’s a ported M122.

It’s a really nice looking car but their are a few things in the advertisement that make me wonder.

- 21 pounds of boost on an M122 with 93 octane

- I didn’t know Hurst made a short throw shifter for these cars

- I didn’t know Ford Racing made a 72mm throttle body for these cars, looks stock in the photo

- I don’t know what Ford Racing dual heat extractors are

There are a few other things in the add that don’t sound right but I’d have to look into it further.
