What car would you choose?

Here is the scenario:

A major auto magazine is giving one lucky winner, any one vehicle of their choosing from any one of the world's major auto manufacturers. But there are conditions:

The winner must, at their own expense, register, license, insure and maintain (as per the auto manufacturers specifications) the vehicle for three years. The winner must also drive a minimum of 5000kms/year. After the three years, if you have met all the conditions, the vehicle is yours free and clear and you can do with it what you like. If you fail to meet any of the conditions then you must pay the full retail price of the vehicle to the manufacturer.

So, what will you choose?

This a very tough call, I’d probably pick a M2 or M3....or maybe a Tesla Model S, but really I don’t think I could pull any of those cars off. Probably end up with a Hellcat Charger Widebody.

This is a tough one. 2020gt 500 would be sweet. As would a 350R

But part of me thinks maybe more practical.

Sell the 150, for a new platinum 150 or even 250 for a trailer hauler and then put the money I’m saving on truck payments into the Tbird and plymouth.

Imagine getting dinged at the dealership for _____ to "maintain" the vehicle every 10,000kms on a high end car. Sounds pricey.

^There hasn’t been anything ridiculous posted in here, probably the car most costly to maintain and insure would be the 911, which still wouldn’t be horribly bad, the BMWs I suggested would be next in line, but still manageable without a car payment to worry about.
I like the idea and have thought about it before, what would I do? I don’t want an suv or truck, but I need to fit the family and the stuff that goes with it, which is why I suggested the Hellcat. I would also gladly rock an STI or EVO but I didn’t list them because in Windsor there is no dealer :)

Cool thread Stephen. I would consider a Challenger Hellcat Redeye or the new upcoming Audi RS6 Avant. Those two would tickle my fancy.

A toughie. It would have to be a convertible, so unfortunately all Shelby's are out. A Bentley, or Roller is simply too much for a daily driver. I personally don't feel any attraction towards a BMW, Audi, Mercedes, or Porsche, so they are off the list.
So. The short list is a Corvette, Mustang, Ferrari Roma, or a Jag F-type R(the one with the 575 hp V-8). Narrowing that down, the Ferrari or Jag. They look very similar, but I have yet to see the Roma in a convertible version. So, I'd have to say the Jag. First 4 years maintenance is included in the sale price, so the only cost would be licensing. A ragtop Roma might change my mind!

If it was me. I'd be looking at a pickup truck. Makes sense from an insurance point of view as a truck is the cheapest thing to insure on the road, if it was 2wd, it would get pretty good on fuel, and would be practical in terms of being a daily driver. Might go for a extended cab just so I could then tow my car to the track :)

Yup. But not the 575 hp v-8 version. Mine has a paltry 380 hp. To be very honest, if The GT500 came in a convertible, I would probably go for that.
