Lap timers

Been looking at getting something to track lap times this year. Anyone using anything cool?

I've done a bit of looking around and of course everyone says there lap time program is the best but wanted to hear feedback.

I basically just want something I can put in the glove box each time out and it records my laps so i can see what I did.

Cheaper the better :P

My buddy uses an app on his phone called track addict. Didn’t cost much and works well. Just need a phone mount.

I like it- cheap and does the job. Those clips I post of TMP all came from track addict. Uses gps method so you can type in track name and it loads it up.
Speed and braking displayed- it has an option for RPM but have to buy the od2 connector first which isn’t too expensive from eBay.

Then for phone/computer transfer I have RaceRender( computer) .
Plays nice with each other.
If you want something fairly inexpensive then this is a good option, frees up cash for other things.

As a matter of fact I used the free version the first few years at TMP, difference being obvious omitting of some features and maximum ability to save ( ie 3 slots I think) as opposed to unlimited- phone memory dependent of course.

Oh has option to use GoPro video as well

Just aim the phone camera for 4 ft view from the hood- no one will see a thing.
That’s why no one gaps slo turd on my videos lol
