Still be a while that the roads will be salt-free. Plus expecting a few storms before winter ends, lol

Had SLP on it for a very short time, found mondo loud exhaust took too much away from the overall experience for my taste.

I am with you. Those extremely loud exhaust is not my cup of tea. I do love my active exhaust on my car though. It’s quiet when I want it.

Seriously considering electric dumps or some sort of active exhaust for the near future. Odd time, do wish it had a hair or twenty more bark but generally enjoy the quiet.

Electric dumps would be perfect.

I'm with you on that one.

Have they made e-dumps that are reliable and dont leak? I recall dealing with a set on my Dads CTS-V and all brands had issues in one shape or another. It's a somewhat ideal solution for those of us that they don't make active exhausts for.

Also wondering if any will stand up to intense heat at track days.

Was thinking trying to design an active exhaust muffler with some sort of internal baffle bypass. Will need muffler bearings to make it work.

That is cool stuff. Very similar in design on our Mini and the M2.

^^^was wondering about that. Have seen a lot of BMW's with what looks like dual exhaust, but one pipe completely clean, and the other all sooty.

I used wonder as well. I figured it out that when they drive in comfort mode the valve stays closed and when in sport mode it opens up.so I gather they never get out of comfort mode. All 4 of my tips are nasty lol

Same here, it had me scratching my head. I've also noticed the same with C6 and C7 vettes.

I had it all arranged for this weekend. But then i thought...why bother? Can't go anywhere. Can't do anything. The government is even discouraging going for a drive. So i'll leave it another week or two.
