I dump a can in the gas tank every 5000km. Corresponds with with my oil change.

Seafoam was not successful with cleaning the carbon buildup on the intake valves on my son's GTI (w/Direct Injection), had to use CRC.
Seafoam and replacing the Coil packs(upgraded to Audi) and plugs didn't keep the mis-fire code away...yeah I'm a Youtube Mechanic now :)

...sorry for the jack, I use Seafoam too.

It's on sale at Napa for $7.49, did my first fuel fill since storage so dumped a can in... Now I need to get out and drive!

only used it once in a carbureted engine - stopped for fuel and the night before the fuel delivery put diesel in the super unleaded tank in the ground - instead of getting super I filled up with a full tank of diesel - car started and I drove away - about five kilometers down the road let off on the gas to slow for the southbound ramp and the car stalled. had no idea the car ran great before this fill up. Could get it running but couldn't keep it running. Called my son to pick me up and take me to Napa. Grabbed two cans of seafoam. Asked the parts guy if he new anything about ultramars gas he said he had heard nothing. Ordered a new 2 barrel carb and went on my way. put the seafoam in the tank and with my son with me I was able to Gerry rig the carb and get her running. Made it home (20k) and she died again in the drive way. One of two things either happened, either the seafoam got me home or the hour it took me to get back to the car was enough time for the two fuels to separate in the tank and get me home - or a combo of both. Still unaware of the fuel mix up - two days later my carb came in and I went to pick it up. Napa then informed me the same thing had happen to the Napa owner with his Raptor and they confirmed I had a tank of diesel - Happy ending Ultramar footed the bill for all effected vehicles...was it the seafoam, don't know?

I use Seafoam in my lawnmower and it fixed a running issue with it,but for a vehicle I would use something more advanced like Redline SI-1 or Gumout Multi System Tune Up.
