Hey guys. I know we got some nerdy nerds on this board.

Need some advice on software to use to start editing videos.

Any advice on what program(s) to use to get the best quality while being cheap (free) to use would be appreciated.
If it matters I'm on windows 10.

I know my Mac has video editing software but never played with it. Call me lazy. LOL

I use Adobe Premiere Elements. It wasn’t free but relatively inexpensive compared to the Pro version.

I-movie on apple devices or MS Movie Maker works well for basic stuff. I use Movie Maker for work videos.

I use either MS Movie Maker or Avidemux, both are free.

Microsoft seems to have hidden Movie Maker in the "Photos" app. (Windows 10 Pro version 1909)

Appreciate the feedback guys. Will check them all out. It was my first time using a program like this, and the Filmora program was pretty brainless to use... I just don't want to spent $50 a year to use it.... lol

lightworks has a free version that is very capable. Lots of tutorials on youtube also.

Another one I've heard about but haven't used is DaVinci Resolve. Also has a free version.

OpenShot and Video Maker 10 could be good free options if you are a beginner. If you the best option then there is no comparison for Adobe Premiere Elements.
