Sooo I never had ac in my fobra…
so I finally decided to try to do it and I have 14v at the LP sensor switch and the switch is new.. but the clutch wont engage as it reads 0v at the connector.
I tried to replace the fan controls in the car and that is fine..
I put 12v to the clutch and it engages but I cant figure out why..
I even put in my spare ccrm...

You try bypassing pressure switch?

Possible your AC relay in the control module (PS inner fender) isn't working?

No idea if it goes straight from output side of the switch to the comp clutch, find a wiring diagram n follow the trail.
AC system through all those years, we've seen none with wiring problems beyond failed cycling switches.

Looks like it triggers relay for AC in the CCRM.
You check all fuses first?

Jeff you have the Cobra AC compressor in yours now obviously right? Its a GT harness right, adapted to the 4v? Any chance the AC clutch is killed in the tune? I believe you can fuck with the tables that kill the clutch at WOT any chance it's some reason perma shut down?

^^^^^^^^^that changes things up, what mods have been done, different power train, harness switched up??, not all CCRM are the same ….

Tree'd However I always was told it was a GT harness. Mah bad.

My brain says check cycling switch by compressor since one by accumulator has already been changed. Also confirm all fuses are present and accounted for in fuse box. Also does anyone we know own a scanner that can see if PCM is trying to command the clutch on?

So after some investigating i have a 2000 gt body harness with a cobra engine harness and cobra pcm...
the body harness was never touched...

sooo looking at pcm diagram pin out
4.6L 2v air conditioning cycling switch input is pin 41
on 4.6 4v cobra 2003 it is pin 41 is a/c high pressure switch
so same thing
only dif i see is 4.6L 2v pin 86 is ac high pressure switch
pin 69 on cobra is ac clucth relay control.. and on 2v is wot ac control relay

but not sure what that really means i would assume pin 69 is the same? i would want to maybe throw pin 86 from the body harness into pin 86.

any inputs before i start some slippery road to hell.
