Thanks for sharing that Don - took my sixteen year old daughter and two of her friends to that tour when it hit Toronto - one of her friends was a drummer and never new who they where - his dad was jealous - by the end of the show he was a Van Halen fan and told me he had never seen anyone play a guitar like that - the news is sad and has been rumored for a while he was sick - I was really hoping to see him play again with his son Wolfgang - too bad a great lose and way too soon....!

Was lucky enough to see Eddie and the rest of Van Halen at the London gardens just after they released their 2nd album. Unbelievable concert and can still remember the image of Eddie high atop of one of their loud speakers doing one of his incredible solo's. RIP.
