At the end of November 2019, I decided it was time to try and get in better shape. For the longest time I felt tired throughout the day and had extraordinarily little energy, no matter how much sleep I got. I would be out of breath just walking a short distance.

One year ago today I weight in at 367 pounds. I was wearing size 48W jeans and 4 or 5 XL shirts.

Today I weight in at 261 pounds for a total of 106 pounds lost. I now wear a size 40W jeans and 2XL shirts. I sleep amazing and I am no longer tired and have ample energy.

I did this by doing a 16/8 fast and low carb foods. Meaning I do not eat for 16 hours after I eat dinner. In the morning I have black coffee but no food. I then have two meals a day, my first between 10 and 11:30 AM and then dinner between 5 and 6 PM. I have also not had Alcohol in over a year, but I did not drink much anyways.

Drink a lot of water too. The more you drink the more you pee. The more you pee the more comes out of your body. I’ve lost 1-2 lbs in a day just by drinking water and then peeing a lot. Obviously stay away from flour and breads as that will just absorb the water.

Well done man, lifestyle changes are hard fought and it sounds like you've got a great regiment in place to live healthier. Keep it going!

Yeah I went from size 40 pants to 32. Spent over $1000 on new clothes. Work requires me to wear a shirt and tie and khaki or dress pants. Slim fit shirts galore.

I am down from 48 to 38 in Jeans. I have spent a a few $$$$$$ on clothing, but that's OK. I have also been able to wear things again that I had in the closet from before lol

What instigated me to lose weight was when I changing the oil on the Civic and I had to jack it up really high so I could fit my fat belly under the car. That’s when I knew I had to lose weight.

Been a while since I updated this post. I have mostly been up and down between 244 and 247 until yesterday. Now at 242.

Since I don't have a Mustang anymore maybe I can get fat again lol

from where you started that's pretty awesome - I've been steady for many years now between 180 and 185 - did drop to 175 a few years ago but found it difficult to get any lower, closer to my high school weight of 165 (its the spare tire area and the love handles no one uses anymore hahaha I think) - your posts have inspired me and a month ago I began preparing to run a 10k race in a little over a year when I turn 60 (not looking forward to that decade...lol) hoping to run a respectable time and close to where I left off about 25 years ago - have a lot of prep work to do and I'm not sure 1 yr and bit is enough time....good luck man 160 would be really impressive!

Down to 239 now.

Keep it up…err down?

I’ve been doing very little and maintaining around 180. Soon gonna get back on track and try and lose a pound a day. Basically have to burn off over 500 calories after dinner. Goal is still 160.
