I'm looking to upgrade to 31 spline axles and will need a carrier upgrade aswell. The car will be a street/strip car, driven nicely on the street, and pounded at the track.

I'm looking fo suggestions on what diff to buy, something that gaurentees 2 wheel traction on the track, but still decent for cruising the streets.

* No spools .

Thanks for your input

If your on a budget, hard to beat the Ford Racing carrier.
Eaton Trutrac if budget will allow.

Eaton Detroit Tru-Trac has been great for me.

Absolutely tru trac differential. Several hundred 1/4 mile passes with 6000rpm clutch dumps. Car goes straight then end weekend hook up tent trailer and drive home. Daily driving no noise what do ever. Must use non synthetic oil 85w140 as worm gear requires specific viscosity as works on friction....

If we were talking street plus road course, Torsen T2R.

I just went through this and ordered the Trutrac last month. Due to arrive next week.
Eaton recommends petroleum mineral based GL5 80w90 oil.
I picked up 3L of Castrol at CT.

Once I finish my torque delivery system at the front of the car, this will be on my list for torque delivery at the rear of the car.
