That's a rare rig, most Platinum's were ordered with the diesel option I beleive. 6.2 are a really nice stout motor, no complaints on them except fuel economy but that's to be expected and is inline with that type of truck. Have had a few in the fleet, can't think of any issues at really just fluids, tires and brakes. Only thing I can think of is if you're going to be towing a lot look for one with the bigger rear gears maybe.

Won’t be a lot of towing maybe 25 times a year give it take, I heard they get around 19l per 100 which isn’t terrible since my hemi gets around 14

Nice truck. Love mine. I have the 6.7 though. Nice to drive and plenty quiet. Ride isn't too bad. Even the wife doesn't mind the ride. Very comfortable. Navigation is the worst ever. Its way off with eta and sometimes route selection is questionable at best. No android auto or apple car play. You have to upgrade navi maps by a memory card. Expensive from ford cheap on ebay. I have the 2018 maps I can copy it for you as well and that truck is local to me. The usb ports are in the compartment on the top center of the dash so a charge cord hanging down the front of the dash unless you get in there and route it inside the dash.Tons of storage in the console. Cup holders lift out then a compartment underneath. then another compartment under that. All seats heated. You don't need a jack to change the oil..lol Best of all that truck looks to have the heated steering wheel... Want to trade?

The 6.2 engine has been pretty good, haven't seen many with major issues. They do have dual spark plugs per cylinder though so a tune-up is more than usual. I"ve sold a few sets of coils for them too which are expensive buggers (Motorcraft ones are anyway).

I recognize the plate on the front of the truck. Been to Mont Bleu Ford many times. Good people. The sync works great on my android. Reads texts but cant send texts through it. Voice works pretty good as well, Except when using navigation. It's amusing but frustrating. I can stream music from my phone no problem. I can get my son to try to hook up his Iphone 5s for you tomorrow. Ill let you know how that goes.

We've had several F-250s and F-350s. All were work trucks. We have 2 right now. Stout trucks. never had a warranty claim, unlike the Chevys we used to buy which were in and out of the dealerships constantly
