Re: 2003 SVT Cobra

To handle all that power and torque, Ford equipped the SVT Cobra with an independent rear suspension setup similar to the first Ford GT. This helped stability at high speeds and hard launches, making this Mustang handle like a dream.
The independent rear suspension helped hard launches?

The Electric Mustang might be #4 now

Well two noticeable errors...2003-4 Mach 1s have 5 not 6 speed trans and the pic of the GT 350R is not the car mentioned in the article.

There are quite a few errors in that article. Would it be so hard for these magazines to actually find someone who knows about Mustangs and employ them to write the article (or at least fact check it).

Writing has become so lazy these days it’s actually sad.

Agreed, terrible article with all sorts of errors. The online publishers don't have budget for editors and fact checkers, so these stories are run as submitted by the authors with no review.

For an affordable fee I would be willing to fact check and improve their content. Especially Mustang related.

Man sometimes I feel I have forgotten more about 79-present Mustangs than most of these “authors” will ever know...and I feel like that same statement would apply to many of the OG members on TMC.
