It's usually been, gates open at 9, driver's meeting at 930-10, on track as soon as driver's meeting is over.
I'm sure ZR will post full info in the next day or so.

wow that sucks hope he was ok...I remember one of the last autox's I was in - there was a questionable layout where two cars traveling in two different lanes would come close to each other in opposite directions that had the potential of getting ugly

Leave a message if no answer. This is being run by Joe DaSilva and Carey as the shop is too busy to handle track registrations. One of the 2 will call you back to get you registered.
The number is for Motion performance cars and parts.

FYI - The Food Concessions will be open at noon tomorrow for lunch.
As per past track days, participants will be divided into three groups A - Advanced, I - Intermediate, R - Rookie.
A -Advanced - Experienced lapping day drivers, running modified cars with r-compound tires or slicks
I - Intermediate - Experienced drivers running stock or slightly modified cars on street tires
R - Rookies - First timers or those with only a few lapping day experiences. NO PASSING in the ROOKIE group.*
* If after a session or two, a move up to the I group can be made. Please consult with the track marshal.
Things to bring with you:
Cash for the snack bar.
A helmet (MANDATORY for verts and strongly recommended for all.)
Extra fuel
Sunscreen
Hat
Sunglasses
Water and snacks
Tire pressure gauge
Torque wrench

Had a great day as always, met a bunch of new people and had a really great time.
As always, the work Joe, Rick, Ross, Stephen and everyone else put in is greatly appreciated. Car was running great, other than a driver rear coilover issue that was a quick fix. Can't wait for the next one.

Thanks to everyone for a well run event. In my long ago youth I competed in dozens of autocross events, but yesterday was one of the best. A highlight was chasing Rick for several "parade" laps. I'm pretty sure he wasn't going for all he was worth, but at times we touched 170, and I was able to keep up in my Jag. It was still immense fun and brought back at least a small fraction of the skills I have lost through the years.
For me it was kind of bittersweet, both because I have put the Jaguar up for sale, and my advancing years. I honestly don't know if I will ever do another track day. A combination of a hot used car market, complications with my fractured hip, and age have me looking to sell.
I'm almost 71 years old, and oddly, comfort has become a concern. No longer do I want to have a stiff ride and loud exhaust, so even another Mustang might be off the table.
Anyway, thanks again to everyone. It was without a doubt the best day I've had this year.
It's everyone involved in running it that makes the day run so smoothly. Add to that the great peeps that show up and it's a win win.
Steve, good to hear you enjoyed yourself. Know you have more experience so wicked it up a notch to make things more fun.

Good to know. Considering that I've run only once at a track in the last 5 years, and that I didn't prep the Jag(not even tire pressure) it was incredible fun. Thanks again Rick

I was very disappointed that at the last minute I had to stay home and look after my wife who had hurt her back.
Good news is that after some more rest, drugs, physio and chiropractor, she was actually feeling much better today and was able to get around and do some stuff on her own.
I'm glad everyone had a great time.
Thanks to Rick and Joe for calling on checking in on me for my no show.
I will be in on the next track day in the spring.
