91 Fox wiring Q

Warm weather has me wrenching instead of wasting time online.

I have a couple wires I can’t ident. This is the harness at the rear of the instrument cluster. PO cut and spliced the orange/green stripe and light blue/white stripe.

Does anyone know what these wires are for?

The grey and white wires look like typical speaker wires.
99% of the time in my experience, hacked harnesses are stereo install related.
Hopefully somebody has a wiring diagram to confirm the orange and blue wires.

I think You're correct. I'll check the stereo/speaker section of the diagrams. I'll probably find the same splice on the passenger side.

Good call Don, ya most times a wiring mess is related to stereo, alarm and or gauges.

I probably wouldn't have thought to check that diagram. Putting in the dash with disconnected wires would have nagged at my psyche.
