Well, it looks like the wife's old Escape has bit the dust. Has anyone used Kidney Kars to dispose of an old vehicle? If not, do you have any recommendations?

Probably worth a shot to throw it up on Kijiji, someone could be looking for a parts vehicle.

If it has the original cat on it, it may be worth quite a bit of money as a scrap car.

It still runs and has the original cat on it, but the right rear shock tower is no longer connected to the body, and there is serious cancer on other parts. I'll do some searching on the interweb.

Kidney Kars or Cars for Kids they will give you a charity tax receipt. So if you get $300 when you do your taxes its like 15% for the first $200 and 29% for the rest or something like that. You get aboot $60 bucks

If you dont care aboot the cash, then go for it. It goes to a good cause

Worth it to go back and forth with a couple of bidders. I got $850 for the wife's van. Cats and rims are key.

Waao!, thats great. I have an old CRV with 426k on it and plan to keep it running till it dies. Looks like i can get some cash from a dead or near dead car.

Back to $800 as one of the cats wasn’t an original. Still more than I had expected.
