Well that didn’t go as hoped. I tried to use my leaf blower to clear the snow off the truck, and after this attempt, I guess I’ll be going back to the brush. If I held the blower in one spot it moved the snow, but it wasn’t very practical, and holding it at shoulder height wasn’t very comfortable. Maybe if it was a light dusting it might work, but for anything heavy or wet it’s not going to cut it. Oh well, I gave it a try.

Blower works great for light powdery snow, the last snow fall we had I cleared the driveways I maintain with my blower in a fraction of the time compared to shoveling.

The car dealers up here use back-mounted blowers on the light stuff.

My solution:
Light fluffy snow - gas powered Stihl leaf-style blower. Final polished finish with a large 11" corn broom made in Mexico.
Wet and heavy snow - my wife uses her new large red snow shovel from Costco. Watch her from front window with my favourite coffee.
My solution not for everybody, but works for me.
P. S. For haters/flame throwers, etc. I have a copy from my doctors that says no heavy lifting with my right arm.
