12 years... really?

12 years ago today to the minute actually, Dad passed away

I remember when I was younger and I used to have these terrible dreams that he had died and they seemed so life like then I'd wake up and be so relieved it was just a dream... I used to think dreams couldn't get any worse!

I was wrong, cause now sometimes I dream he is still here and we are driving our cars, out on the boat or just simply hanging out and they seem so life like also... until I wake up and realize it's just a dream, now these have become the nightmares and they are very much worse... for me at least.


Anyways... still remember it like it was yesterday... or 5min ago

my condolences. your dad passed way to young.

my dad died 4o years ago come this june, and my mom 2 years later. i still think about my dad every day.

My dad died 10 years ago as well. I was 23 at the time and he was sick since I was very young. It’s a shitty deal no matter how you slice it. Either way I’m happy you’re able to still share his memory. I’ve only met you once, and your a solid dude so i can say for sure your dad did a great job raising you <3

My mom passed away when iI was 17, which will be 40 years ago this June. Crazy!!
