I'm a bit of a stereo buff so I opted for the B & O stereo upgrade in my '22 It was approx $1200 option and includes a 9 speaker system including a 10" sub in the trunk. I was expecting satisfaction but instead was disappointed. I should have asked the dealership to let me listen to it before I bought it. :(

Have 9 speaker system in my '20, ridiculous how poor it sounds.

A lot of people think the B&O is lackluster. General consensus is the cheap fix is a new shallow mount sub like a Pioneer TS-A250D4 or a JL10W1V3-4 in the stock enclosure with some polyfill to help it go lower. Also if you're using CarPlay a digital EQ app can give you a little more control of your frequencies than a standard Bass, Mid range and Treble adjustment.

The Bose set up in my XT6 is no better, I also have the B&O in my 21 vert!

Lack of decent bass is only part of the problem, system has the fidelity of a cheap transistor radio.

On flip side, premium sound plus sub in my '16 Ram exceeds what I expect it to sound like.................home run Ram.

I agree ZR.
It's not just the sub. The whole spectrum sucks. Someday when I have some disposable money, I'm going to overhaul or replace the whole system.
I got to have great tunes!

Some claim unlocking power to the speakers via Forscan makes a substantial difference.

I'm very curious and interested in what you said ZR. How exactly would I go about doing this unlocking of power to my speakers?

How exactly do I do this?

I briefly read about it in the 6G forums. Maybe a Google search will bring details up??
How poor the tunes sound, takes big chunk of the pleasure out of the car for me.

Forscan is awesome if you have a Ford. Best thing is it's free. Get it here https://forscan.org/download.html and you need something like this. https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B081VQVD3F/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 There's tons of info on how to use it and lists of everything it does.

After just a little bit of research online regarding the B & O fix using Forscan software. (thanks to ZR for informing me)
It appears that a lot of people are doing it. However; It looks too daunting for me to even think about doing it myself.
If anyone has this software and knows how to do this, and doesn't live too far from the GTA, I would really appreciate your help.
I would be more than happy to compensate you for your help.
