I went to put some fuel in BuRT last night at Shell and noticed a change at the pumps. They now offer 87, 91 and 93. It must have happened recently as I was at the same station less than a week ago and they were still offering 87, 89 and 91.

Now you can fill up your Formula 1 Mercedes, just have to pump it yourself.

Plus the addition of up to 10% ethanol for all the fuel grades now.

93,is that around $2.00 a liter or close to it?

My local Shell made all the pumps prepay only. Before it was just the rear pumps.
Can't stand that prepay shit.

I guess people are stealing gas more often.

I don’t think it’s at all locations though, some I have been at recently are still 87,89, and 91.

The one by me has had it for about a month now. Some areas south of me have had it since May.

Shell by me did the same thing, no more 91. Also all the gas stations around here are now prepay only. I almost always pay with CC but the odd time I use cash I always overpay to fill up and I’m running back inside to get $1.53 in change.

Better question- are these gas stations actually doing the right thing by selling us ‘premium gas’? Are we getting hosed? My truck gets 87 all day but I splurge on the fox for the 500km’s I do a year.

If your engine needs premium fuel, money well spent. If it's geared up to run on 87, your wasting money.

Esso in Orangeville has all four grades paid 1.98 this morning for 93 ouch! up from 1.86 last week also noticed the limit option bumped up to $300 lol what does that tell ya - 200 doesn't do it for the F anymore. Haven't purchased 94 in a while must be over 2.00 by now

Really? I don’t even notice anymore. Actually get annoyed when pre-pay isn’t working and I have to go in.

Yes much prefer to pay at the pump than have to go in wait in line and stare at pop and jerky.

Somehow still not losing weight though.

When a sign is up saying pay inside I go to the next station.

I filled up my Prius F150 yesterday with 91 at $1.97 per liter. Good thing I get over 800km a tank (95% city driving)
