WTB: Distributor

I'm looking for a known good 'steel gear' distributor for my '90 5.0. I tried a 'new' Cardone unit but the gear was not meshing correctly. Tried a 'reman' Cardone and no spark...

I'm in Waterloo. If you have one let me know.

No luck with MSD? I see CJ Pony has a good selection of distributors as well.

You may be able to change the gear only. I believe the gear is different in the roller engine opposed to the pre '85 /'86 hydraulic cam engines, depending on what you have in your engine and I'm assuming its a roller being a '90

I’d try Jeff at Mustang Specialteaz. I think I’d rather have a used OEM one over MSD

Maybe the one you had just didnt engage the oil pump shaft?
