Hey Everyone!

For the past couple of years, I have participated in the Iracing for the kids race to raise money for SickKids Hospital.
This year, Carter Kundinger and I from Composite performance, are entering into the event to raise as much money as we can for a great cause! We will be teaming up with a real life pro and competing against 40 other teams! We have yet to be assigned a real life pro... more to come on that!
Over the past two years, the event has raised over $50,000 to SickKids Hospital!

If you would like to support our team and help us reach our goal... please donate at the link below.
The race will be January 10th. The race will be professionally broadcasted on Youtube for everyone to enjoy. Broadcast link to come!
Any questions, please feel free to message me!

I have some really exciting news to share about the Charity Race that my team and I are raising money for.
This year, the teams are all being paired up with a real life driver to make teams of 3. Carter & I have been paired with the LEGENDARY Canadian driver of Robert Wickens.
If you do not know who he is, hit up google and have a look at his story. Truly an inspiration.
Wickens has just won the most recent racing championship in the IMSA Touring Car Class finale of the Michelin Pilot Challenge.
We are super excited to work with Mr. Wickens in this event and hope to bring home the W.

Thanks again to everyone that tuned in and a big thank you to everyone that reached into their pockets and donated.
The last time I looked, the event was just under $30,000 raised... incredible. Putting the 3yr total of just under $90,000 raised. WOW!

My team, with the thanks to you guys, was just over $2800
I believe you can still donate if anyone is so willing.

To the race.
The first race, the session was not set up correctly, in the terms of, the teams would not be able to do any driver swaps...

The second race, was complete random grid, which netted us a P2 start position.
We decided to put Wickens in the car to see if he can hold position.
We fell back to 3rd after about 20laps or so running a second off P1.

Then the train fell off the tracks, Wickens got a slowdown penalty in the busstop... which means he cut the track too much.
In iracing, it gives you a "slowdown X amount within X amount of time"... well wickens did not slow down enough in the correct amount of time and we were given a Black Flag.
A 16seconds stop and hold, no service allowed.

This put us back 45-48seconds from the leader.

We were about 20th at the time when we cycled back out from the penalty.

I got back in the car for the last 45mins or so and was able to bring it home P9.

Overall a solid event. Wish the first race would have kept going... it's never a good look for any event when stuff hits the fan like it did in race 1...

But what really matters is how much money was raised.

Had a blast talking with Wickens. He's truly a super nice guy and really fun to hang out with. He says he wants to do some more racing with us in the sim when the time is right, so that would be cool.

Thanks all
