I have a '70 351c 2v. Looking at some ram air options, and it looks like that none sold in 1970 had it. The 302 did, as well as the 428/429s.
In 1971, the Mustang had a 351 4v ram air package, but only on the M and R codes I think. Not the 2v.
I found this: http://www.mustangsunlimited.com/itemdy01.asp?T1=DA173+01&Category=Air%2FFuel&subCategory=Air+Cleaners%2FFilters&SubSubCategory=Air+Cleaner+Assemblies&CatKey=EMUSTANG

Think that'll fit on a 70 2v? I'm not terribly savy under the hood, so sorry if i'm coming across as a noob.

'69 & '70 had the shaker scoop option, '71 -'73 had the NACA ducted hood with the ram air, you could get the hood by itself too.

nice. okay.
I've seen a few shaker kits online. the black scoop itself is detachable from what I can see.. so it would fit my current scoop setup as long as I cut the hood correctly.
Thanks guys. Glad to see I have options.
right now I can't find much cheaper than this one for $529:

I know there's got be a better bargain out there though. I'll keep digging.
Can't wait to see how this turns out! Cutting of the hood aside, I think this will be an easy project for me too. Looking forward to learning something!
