these things are the catz...

Darren at Revin High put me on to these...awesome mod!

you will never lose a header bolt again...nor will you have to re tighten

interesting. Have never, ever had ARP header bolts (both plain and SS) loosen on a multitude of headers and motors in my Mustangs.

I use regular Mr. Gasket header bolts (1" for the thick flange headers). Knock the shipping oil off with brake cleaner, chase the threads in the heads then brake cleaner again. Fel-Pro 1415 and done.

+1 on the above plus tighten the fawkers up within an inch of their respective lives.
Be cool if those new fangled bolts n washers work as advertised but wonder if the added ht under the bolt head might create problems installing where the pipe partially passes over the bolt head.

good point...as I did have some interference issues

dimpled the headers with the ball buss peenus hammer...fits like a champ

best part...no leaks

the other thing...Remflex header gasket...off the hook pro stuff imo

funny...its just little stuff that makes such a big difference

you are welcome DW I like to think I am ahead of the curve on somethings.. those gaskets are killer, warped flanges, cheap headers turn into a non issue
