Has anyone installed a back up camera on a new edge?

It's something I'm looking into sometime in the near future.

My only issue is that I don't want to drill holes anywhere.

I have rear cameras on my new edge and foxes. I use toggle switches to turn them on anytime

I like that a lot!

Looking at a Raxiom radio / nag / rear camera upgrade for my 05, just wasn't keen on the camera location...but this!

Can you take a picture of your new edge rear cam?

I received a rear view mirror lcd as a gift and it has a port for a camera that can be connected to it. I was wondering how I can go about installing a camera in the back

I have seen some that are part of a license plate frame.

I have one on my truck thats bolts to the top two bolts of the plate. Works excellent and I can line up a trailer without getting out of truck, so good.

I think that may be the one I saw recently. It was along the top of the license plate on a pick up truck.

Mostly likely can by running it up through the license plate light area.

I don't drive a truck... The mustang is my all weather vehicle. She's gonna run wild. All prepped and krowned, snows on pedal ever so gently to the metal as safe as possible lol

Was looking at my pile of junk the other day, realized would be pretty trick to replace the rear trunk lock with a camera.

I was thinking of routing it through one of the license plate light holes. One light is Enough for illumination...

Your idea sounds great but my concern is that the automatic mechanism for the trunk release could fail and be some a pain in the ass to open the trunk once that happens

Go through the back seats if that happens, or add a manual release lever.

I just stumbled on that Raxiom Rear Mirror / camera kit and it looks fantastic! I wonder if it would fit my 2000 GT...but its still pretty pricey to me.
