Collecting the last few things for my Cobra brake install. What are the differences between 94-98 and 99-04 rear cobra brakes. They are listed as 2 different part #'s.

Thanks

94-04 rear brakes are either V6/GT or Cobra/Bullitt/Mach I. What is being listed as different ... rotors, calipers?? The OEM numbers for some of the parts would have varied over the years, but are functionally the same for all SN95 with the 11.65" rear brakes.

calipers are being listed as different. Since you answered thank you BTW do you have access to the dust shields?

Front calipers had different piston sizes on 99-04, rears are the same all the way through. The dust shields are still available from Ford at a very reasonable price, you're looking at $30 tax included for a pair.

thanks,

Also if someone can chime in. I have the rear cobra caliper mounting bracket can I use this instead of the North car bracket. I will be using stock 01 GT wheels.

The bracket that bolts to the axle depends on what axles you are using

I was going to use sn95 axles knowing full well they will be 3/4" longer on both sides.

The brackets have to match the axles being used as Brad mentioned. So if you have SN95 length axles, you should use the OEM brackets. The North Racecars brackets are for using with Fox length axles.
