Anyone know of a shop that could install some cats in an off road h pipe to make it legal?
Is this even worth it?
Stinking dollar is the only reason I am considering going this route.
Thanks

Only if you can buy the pipe + pair of cats cheap enough. Keep in mind, to fully weld most times requires the pipe be installed, cut and cats fitted, tacked in place, remove to weld, re-install. You'll also need an OEM Ford RH pipe to manifold gasket, other side is a ball socket.

Give dasilva racing a call, they welded in some cats in an off-road pipe I had on my cobra years ago.

So I've made two calls this morning, the first place was north of $600, second place only provided a ballpark between $400-$600.
And I still have the cost of the used H pipe on top of this.
Ouch! Might as well just buy a new H or X pipe at these rates.

Next call will be DaSilva, thank you 03svt.

GT Customs, 1051 Brock Road Pickering, (905) 619-3510, but you are better off buying a catted pipe and selling your OR from a cost perspective.

Thanks everyone for your input.
I think best option would be to go new and not bother mucking around with this.
