So I bought new dress pants for work. It turns out the left pocket has a button on the outside of the pocket. The button was probably a razorblade turned into a button because it cut right through my seats.. Iam soo angry right now! I went and cut all the buttons off my pants!!

The button cut 2 holes and tore up the side

Where can I get my seat re-upholstered, or where can I get a new seat? I found a whole set (front and back) for $200 in Hamilton but the seat part is bad, and I don't want the rest.

Anyone know a "Guy"?

I've heard good things about New Image Interiors Joel. Maybe worth checking them out? The are located in Scarborough.

Fucking livid is right...from now on no pants ever!!

What would something like that cost to fix? OR is it cheaper to wait for a good set of used seats?

haven't got a clue....best to have a chat with the guys at New Image

they might have a quick look and say it's a minor cost no-brainer fix

Not sure if they sell partial kits or not but check out
https://katzkin.com/

Did their leather kit in my truck myself, took a whole bunch of time but a very doable at home project.

"Track" pants.

Repairing the perforated part will be hard. New covers are going to run $200+ just for the seat back portion plus install. For example: http://m.ebay.com/itm/2000-Ford-Mustang-GT-Driver-Side-LEAN-BACK-Perforated-Leather-Seat-Cover-Gray-/322199296084?nav=SEARCH

You may find a talented leather guy to patch the spots up but I doubt it will be 100%. Depends on your level of picky.

My vote is surf Kijiji and Wreckers for a replacement seat. Or do what I did and go full retard and buy new racing seats

Tom's Upholstery in Brantford does awesome work. Huge shop with 5 or 6 guys doing all kinds of upholstery, Cars, trucks, boats, planes.
Reasonable prices, high quality work.

They have my visors right now and are making new door panel where the carpet was. His price is very good and the quality is top notch. He won't be happy till you are.

Modified version of Laffs' suggestion: duct tape, save up for Corbeau's.

Can you put the passenger Upholstery on the driver seat?

Can you put the passenger Upholstery on the driver seat?
Probably not because of the holes for the seat belt guide and the release on the back to tilt the seat forward for passengers to get into the back seat.

Damn, Cuz I found a really nice Passenger seat, very clean.

Are Ractive race seats any good?

Are Ractive race seats any good?

Define good? Probably won't kill you but won't win any awards in longevity, form or function.

I'm being harsh. But I'd go sit in them first and decide if its worth getting brackets made and all that. Also if theyr'e Ractive black cloth, it will fade to purple over time.

No worries, I appreciate your opinion.

I've never heard of them and found them cheap with the mustang bracket

Last Friday after work I headed over to New image and met Serge. Great guy and very enthusiastic about his work. It refreshing to go to a business and they love what they do. He showed me around the shop and made me touch everything. He gave me a few ideas too. His prices aren't too bad and he's willing to work out a deal. So if I don't find a clean seat by Nov. ..I'll give him a call

You could look for some S197 seats as well. Use the stock rails from the new edge. adapt the harness. Comes out great!

Good to know, but they are probably harder to find
