Hi guys so I recently bought a 06 mustang with a Whipple. It was dyno tuned with a Sct x4, and when I bought it, the owner used his old sct x2 with an
old tune to pass emissions. The problem I'm having now is that the old Sctx 2 won't un marry and let my reload the Whipple tune with the x4. It reads General
error# 11023 Device "already married to a different vehicle". Anyone have any advice or run into the same problem?

that weird. So
X2 has a passable tune.
You married it and loaded the tune.
Went for emission.
Now it won't un-marry it self?

Did you load the x2 tune over the Whipple charger tune?
If so you no longer have a stock 06 tune in any of the device?

I believe you have to return the tune to stock to un-marry the tuner. Then re-tune with the new tuner.

Crap, i bet you anything that he tuned the x2 over the Whipple tune. Does that mean I'm screwed?

I believe you have to return the tune to stock to un-marry the tuner. Then re-tune with the new tuner.

This sounds right. Return to stock using the X2 then load from the x4

Make a copy of your stock tune on a thumb drive and toss in the glovebox for a rainy day while you're messing with this.

The more I think about it, you do not need to unmarry the tuner. It is only the tuner that knows it is married to the car. just put it back to stock and retune it with the X4. If the X4 says it is married to another vehicle than you need to get it unlocked by SCT.
